RJWF Inc. is a 501c3 based in Charlotte, NC that was initially founded in 2004 after the death of 8 year old Roddie Philip Dumas Jr. With roughly 4.5 million (reported) dog bites yearly in the US, this non-profit organization has a sole purpose of educating the community on responsible dog ownership & minimizing dog bites to our youth.
Who We Help
RJWF provides support to children ages 0-17 whom have sustained injuries inflicted by dog bites. This support is inclusive of educational, emotional, physical and financial assistance. If you or someone you know has been affected, please reach out to us today!

What Drives Us
Our mission is to significantly reduce dog bites and fatalities amongst our youth in the United States. We look to equip families and communities across the globe with the knowledge and tools necessary to foster healthy human and K-9 relationships. This creates an opportunity for development in a safe environment where child and pet can both coexist.
